Time For Fun and Hard Physical Labor (and mostly a lot of good time visiting!)

Mom  McDaniel and Julie, Emilee and Alex came for a visit to Providence Prairie in October.  Little did they know that they would be so engaged in hard physical labor!  :)  They were more than willing to jump right in and lend a hand in the endeavors!  What great work ethic!

Yes. . . We're willing to work!

The lanterns needed cleaned and filled for Prairie-fest.

The Peddler Shop's false front needed some work.

There needed to be a ladder to access the platform in the play area.  The ladies jumped right in and took care of it!
Even hoisting it to the right location!

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, though!

Emilee wow-ed us with her contortion abilities!

Alex gave it a try as well.
Well, it doesn't look like Trey is quite as limber as his younger cousins!

The group then moved on to other fun pastimes such as jumping the broomstick!

Lots of good conversation and catching up happened all along the way.

And of course, an old fashioned game of leap frog became the next diversion on the agenda!

Clair mid-air. . . (it rhymes!)

Have you ever played a game of roller chairs?

And before leaving, Mom and Julie simply had to try out the tire-go-round.  What fun!

Here we go!

Okay, time to stop. . .

And so the weekend came to a close. . .
