Snowman Soup

Glenna invited us to help make "snowman soup" for the shut-ins and elderly of whom DCC was going to carol. So Rachel, Clair, Amanda and Mom were off to her home and it was time to stamp! She had prepared in advance and had the workplace and supplies ready to go.
With her paraphernalia prepared, and her stamping expertise, we began to work.
Cut and trim and size the paper. . . A snip here, a dash of color there, stamp and stamp some more. Glue, paste, adhere. . .

A little color sure brought these little fellas to life!

While we busily prepared the paper fun, Glenna worked hard in the kitchen making chocolate spoons to add to the "soup."

With a package of hot chocolate, a few snowman shaped marshmallows, a chocolate spoon for stirring and our hand stamped greetings, the snowman soup was well on its way to its intended recipients.

Thank you Glenna for the afternoon of fun and fellowship and the idea of gifting the shut-ins and elderly with a nice sentiment from DCC!

Oh, so pretty!

It is wonderful to catch up with you all a bit. The flip flops are wild and the snowman soup is a wonderful idea. May have to borrow that one!

Congratulations to Amanda and Ryan. Glad that you put that sweet picture up. We will keep you in our prayers as "The Day" approaches!

Blessings to you all.
