How exciting it was to pick up the latest addition to Providence Prairie- two horses! Lady and Ribbon are both quarter horse mares that stand at 14 and 16 hands tall, respectively. 
They loaded quite easily into our small horse trailer and made it safely home. When we arrived home, we kept them separate to visit with and warm up to us before introducing them to the rest of the herd. 
They seem happy. . . 
and we are looking forward to hitting the trails of Providence Prairie! Spanky Hank now is blessed with two riding companions, as well as those who will be on their backs!
