Our Visit with Mr. Green Snake and Other Family Events
Birthdays were abundant in May. Happy, happy birthday to so many!
Amongst our festivities, this bright green fellow joined in the fun. Mr. Rough Green Snake was a joy to hold and admire as he twined with agility in and out of our fingers.
We have an awesome, amazing God to have created such an intricately designed creature as the wiggly Mr. Green Snake.

Happy Mother's Day!
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." Ephesians 6:1-3
A special dinner was prepared for Mom on her special day.
Her place setting was graced by this unique origami swan.
Happy Mother's Day to all wonderful mothers! May God bless each of you in your efforts to raise Godly offspring and generations of standard bearers!

Bird Count 2010
It was once again time to count the birds in Hamilton County to participate in the state wide bird count. Off we trekked through the fields and woods of Providence Prairie.-c.JPG)
On the way, we found several box turtles- an eastern and two westerns.

It was a fun day of identifying flora and fauna here on the farmstead!

The New "Shorn" Look

Each ewe is carefully positioned to our best advantage as her wool is sheared and collected for later spinning.

I just wonder. . . .

with enough crimp to spin?

Ryan and Amanda Return To Providence Prairie
After having been married just over one month, Ryan and Amanda arrived to visit, share, and enjoy time spent together with family at Providence Prairie. We had a great time visiting and catching up on all the latest news.
It was so good to see their smiling faces.
Amanda milked Cheesecake just to keep in practice! :)
We love you both!
