Clair jumped right in and labored alongside us in so many projects, sharing in the joys of fellowship as well as playing and working together.
While we were still in Ohio, at Uncle Dennis and Aunt Adele's, Clair and Rachel spotted a very special project made by Jeremy. They decided that they wanted to try their hand at something similar.
So, some of the fun had while visiting was experimenting in paper mache. Since the infamous outlaw was said to be hidden out in a barn nearby our farmstead, another fun project was the making of a mini movie about Jesse James. Pioneer costumes were pulled out and others created to lay the plot for the capture of the villain in a non-historically correct mini drama from the era.Clair played the part of a young pioneer girl named Nellie.
Rachel played her mother.
Others included were Indians and of course a lawman.
Trey was the narrator and descendant of the "lawman" in the movie.
Considering the small cast and that Ryan was not here to play the part, with a lot of make-up and padding, Amanda played Jesse James!
Rhonda taught Clair the basics of knitting and she is diligently working on a garter stitch scarf in a pretty variegated color.
Keep up the knitting Clair!
Keep up the knitting Clair!

I must say, I didn't expect this picture to be on the blog. I look like I'm dying to skewer Rachel!
Oh,by the way, thanks so much for teaching me how to knit, Rhonda. I've been working on my scarf. I haven't encountered any major problems, yet. =0)
