New Horizon Christian School

For Veteran's day 2009, the New Horizon Christian School requested our family to perform a patriotic program for the children and their parents. We led them on a journey through our nation's wonderful Christian heritage with quotes, songs and voices of the past. We pray that all were blessed and that the Lord was magnified.

First Freewill Baptist

On Sunday, November 1, 2009 we were pleased to be able to share in song with the First Freewill Baptist church in Benton. The lovely congregation were gracious to our family as we brought the gospel in song to lift our Lord on high.

Grandpa and Grandma Roth visit Providence Prairie

Jamie and Ryan were pleased to bring their maternal grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Roth to Providence Prairie. . . and we were pleased to have them visit. They have lead a self-reliant lifestyle and had a lot to share with their pioneer spirit and wonderful work ethic.

Grandpa showed us his technique on the 2-man saw.

He also got into the action with a little hoop rolling!

A lovely pioneer couple!

Pigs Again

We went to retrieve these beauties in late October.

After some bottle feeding, we finally trained them to drink from a pan.

They are growing so fast!

A Walk in the Woods on an Autumn Day

With the wind rustling the dry leaves and the sun shining bright, we set off this fine day on a mushroom hunt.

We found many specimens just waiting for us to get a shot of them and thus bagged several good photos to share. Of course, don't eat any of these beauties!

What a nice little toad stool.

And here's the toad to go along with it!

We had plenty of fun helping this puffball mushroom spread its spores! By jumping on top of it, it sends clouds of dust and spores into the air.

The Fall scenery was gorgeous as well.

Providence church

One sunny afternoon recently, we were blessed to be able to share with Providence church at their Singspiration. The October 25th morning dawned beautifully sunny, and the disposition of the congregation there followed suit! It was good to see some familiar faces there. Bless you and keep on keeping on!
